The Braid and Beauty Bar LLC · Last Updated: August 19, 2026
This Transportation Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between The Braid and Beauty Bar LLC ("Company") and the individual or organization requesting transportation services ("Renter"). By submitting a reservation request and making payment, the Renter agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
1. Services Provided
The Company agrees to provide private group transportation services as described in the reservation confirmation, including the agreed-upon pickup location, drop-off location, date, time, and number of passengers.
Services are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by the Company. A reservation is not confirmed until the Renter has signed this Agreement and the required payment has been received.
2. Rates & Minimums
Rates are based on the total mileage of the scheduled trip. The following hourly rates and minimum hours apply:
| Trip Distance | Hourly Rate | Min. Hours | Min. Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–50 miles | $150/hr | 3 hours | $450 |
| 51–75 miles | $200/hr | 4 hours | $800 |
| 76–100 miles | $250/hr | 6 hours | $1,500 |
Trips exceeding 100 total miles require a customized quote. Additional hours beyond the minimum are billed at the applicable hourly rate.
3. Booking & Payment
A reservation is not confirmed until this Agreement is signed and the required payment is received.
Full payment or a deposit (as specified in the reservation confirmation) must be received no later than 120 hours (5 days) before the scheduled event date.
Failure to submit payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
4. Renter Responsibilities
The Renter is responsible for the conduct and safety of all passengers in their group.
Passengers must comply with all driver instructions and applicable safety regulations at all times.
The Renter is responsible for ensuring all passengers are ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time.
The Company reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a trip if passenger behavior poses a safety risk.
The Renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers beyond normal wear and tear.
5. Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for the following, where applicable and approved:
Approved trip changes (route modifications, additional stops, extended time)
Parking fees and tolls incurred during the trip
Excessive cleaning required after the trip
Vehicle damage caused by passengers
Wait time beyond the agreed schedule
The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify the Renter of anticipated additional charges in advance when possible.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is confirmed only when the Transportation Service Agreement has been signed and all required payment has been received at least 120 hours (5 days) before the scheduled event.
Cancellation Requests
To cancel a reservation, the Renter must send an email to [email protected]. The date and time the cancellation email is received will determine refund eligibility.
Refunds
Cancellations received 72 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time qualify for a 70% refund of payments received.
Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method when possible.
Important: The 72-hour cancellation deadline is based on the scheduled pickup time, not the event start time.
Reservation Changes
Requests to change the date, pickup location, destination, passenger count, or itinerary must be submitted as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
No-Shows
If the Renter or passengers are not present at the scheduled pickup location and no prior arrangements have been made, the reservation may be considered a no-show and is non-refundable.
Delays & Service Interruptions
We make every reasonable effort to provide reliable transportation. Delays or interruptions may occur because of circumstances beyond our control, including:
Severe weather
Traffic
Road closures
Accidents
Mechanical issues
Government restrictions
Emergencies
Other unforeseen circumstances
Safety will always take priority. The Company will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruptions and assist the Renter when possible.
Renter Responsibility
The Renter is responsible for reviewing all reservation details before the trip, including the date, pickup location, destination, passenger count, and scheduled pickup time.
Please Note: By signing the Transportation Service Agreement, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Safety
Safety requirements always take priority. The driver has the authority to make decisions necessary to ensure the safety of all passengers and the vehicle, including adjusting routes, stopping the vehicle, or refusing to continue a trip.
All passengers are required to remain seated and use available safety restraints while the vehicle is in motion. The Company is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company's liability for any claim arising out of or related to the transportation services provided under this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Renter for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.
The Company is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, road conditions, or mechanical issues.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Cook County or Will County, Illinois.
