Children in foster and kinship care often go without basic personal care — not because no one cares, but because the system wasn't built to prioritize it. We bring affirming hair care and hands-on self-care workshops directly to foster care agencies and kinship placements. Participants practice on mannequins and leave with a take-home kit so they can keep caring for themselves every day.

Youth and adults in detention facilities are among the most underserved when it comes to personal care. We believe that access to care is not a privilege to be earned — it's a human right. Our trauma-informed team brings respectful, professional services to these facilities, including hands-on workshops where participants practice on mannequins and take home a personal care kit.

Schools & Park Programs

Confidence starts young.

We partner with school districts and park programs to bring self-care workshops and hair care services to students — especially those from under-resourced families. Students practice techniques on mannequins and leave with a take-home kit so the learning continues at home. Learning to care for yourself is a life skill, and we make it accessible, fun, and affirming.
